Dr. Parkes: I'm Dr. Roger Parkes. I'm the co-owner, with my partner, Dr. Clarke Stewart, of Periodontal Associates of Jackson. And with our 15 employees, we've been seeing people from all over parts of Mississippi, parts of Alabama, Tennessee, and Louisiana. It's a great place to live. I love living in Jackson, Mississippi. We're the crossroads of the South right here.
Dr. Stewart: Well, for me, Jackson, Mississippi is home, even though I'm from Raymond, which is a small town southwest of Jackson. But Mississippi people are truly the most hospitable people in the world. Dr. Parkes and I became Periodontal Associates of Jackson in 1989. We're basically a periodontal specialty practice that specializes in the treatment of periodontal disease and dental implants.
Dr. Parkes: What separates our practice from other practices, not just in Jackson and Mississippi, but in other places, is our technology. We're up-to-date on every single technology that's out there. Anytime anything comes out, we investigate it. If we like it and we think it would be an advantage to our patients, we do it. That's what gives us an advantage over a lot of practices.
Trey: Doctors Parkes and Stewart, they tend to keep themselves on the leading edge on the technology that, not only Nobel Biocare provides, but is in implant dentistry today.
Dental Assistant: I've been here nine years. The doctors are wonderful. I've worked with Dr. Stewart and Dr. Parkes. And it's just been a great experience working here. I've learned so much.
Dr. Parkes: We could not do what we do without our staff. I believe in the Law of Attraction. And I believe that these people that work here were attracted into our lives by the Law of Attraction. So there's a bond that we have that goes beyond the contract that we have as just an employer and an employee. These people that work here care. They pour themselves into it. They're here for their patients, and they call the patients, and they do things extra. And that's something that you can't teach somebody.
Woman: The staff is excellent from the front office, to the back people, from the x-ray technicians. Everyone is very professional. I've just had a very positive experience.
Dr. Stewart: My philosophy is that we want to treat our patients like family. I'm extremely empathetic to their needs.
Man 2: They all just kind of work in sync. It's like everybody knows what everybody else is going to do before they do it kind of thing. You know, it just makes you feel comfortable in what's a very uncomfortable situation.
Woman 2: So when I saw Dr. Parkes and his staff for the first time, I had very little hope, but immediately, they made me feel at ease. He actually changed my life in that first consultation.
Dr. Parkes: My philosophy of this practice is when somebody walks out of this office, that they got more than they expected. I want them to think that they got the best care, the most caring people, and the best, most technologically advanced treatment that they can possibly get anywhere.
Woman: It's a very comforting zone, knowing that my teeth will be taken care of. Because that's important to me.
Man 2: Everyone from Dr. Parkes to Dr. Stewart to the whole staff. So I mean, I highly recommend them.
Woman: I would highly recommend Periodontal Associates to friends and family.
