Teeth in a Day

Do you want the stability that dental implants offer but don't want the long waiting period for the surgery? Teeth in a Day® dental implants and restorations can be placed in one appointment. Dr. Roger Parkes has nearly four decades of dental experience helping Jackson, MS, patients receive their dream smiles right away.

What is Teeth in a Day?

There are many types of dental implants that Jackson, MS, periodontists, Dr. Roger Parkes, and Dr. R. Clarke Stewart place to restore your teeth. Some just take longer than others. Teeth in a Day (immediate load dental implants) is an exciting dental implant innovation that replaces teeth in about one hour at our practice.

Teeth in a Day Vs. Traditional Implants

/

During your Teeth in a Day implant procedure, a temporary denture, bridge, or crown is placed immediately. Patients have to wait many months before any restoration is placed with traditional implants.

What are the Benefits of This Procedure?

Time

Teeth in a Day are ideal for patients needing a functioning tooth replacement solution fast – in about one hour. Traditional dental implants need up to six months to completely integrate with the bone. The results are well worth the wait, but only for patients who have the time.

Office Visits

Teeth in a Day implants require just one office visit. Traditional dental implants require several office visits. More than one surgery is needed – one to install the implant and another one six months later to uncover the implant from beneath the gum line.

Temporary Teeth

Teeth in a Day are actual teeth you can use the same day you get them. Traditional dental implants require patients to use a dental appliance (dentures or bridge) or even go without a tooth until the implants are fully integrated and ready to support the permanent teeth. Dr. Parkes or Dr. Stewart will place a restoration piece immediately after placing the implant.

I had a great experience with Dr. Parkes, and his staff. They made me feel like family. They were comforting, kind, caring and patient. They took time explaining the procedure and answering any questions that I had and gave a very good goodie bag. After my procedure they escorted me to my person that was driving me home and explained what needed to be done. They went above and beyond. I greatly appreciate them and would recommend them to anyone needing implants, have gum disease or and periodontal work.

I've been a patient of Dr. Parks for many years now. I eventually had to have an all-on-4 procedure. It was either that or an in-and-out top denture. I am a big baby when it comes to shots or any other dental pain. Dr. Parks and his staff were so patient with me and got me through this. They went out of their way to make me comfortable. Did a GREAT job too! I've gotten so many compliments about how pretty my teeth are. Thank you Dr. Parks and staff. Y'all made my life so much easier. I couldn't have made it through this without you.

Consultation

During your initial consultation with Dr. Parkes or one of our other dentists, the state of your teeth will be assessed, and the dentist will determine if Teeth in a Day implants are the right procedure for you.

Planning

Your dentist will make a surgical plan for where the implants should be placed to best fuse to your jawbone. This step is especially important for patients replacing a full arch.

Sedation

The dentist will always use local anesthesia to numb the treatment area for a virtually painless procedure. For anxiety relief, general anesthesia can be administered to put patients to sleep for the entirety of the procedure.

Placing the Implant

The dentist will make an incision in the gum to place the implant. We use state-of-the-art tools and technology to ensure the surgery goes over smoothly for the patient.

Placing the Temporary Restoration

Since you're undergoing Teeth in a Day surgery, your temporary denture, bridge, or crown is placed immediately after your implant post. You can leave our Mississippi office with a new set of teeth the same day.

Final Appointment

After your surgery, a custom crown, bridge, or denture is made specifically for your smile. The dentist will replace your temporary denture, bridge, or crown with a permanent one at this time.

I came to visit Dr. Stewart because I had implants that were poorly placed and had multiple issues with them. Dr. Stewart immediately began to work toward repairing the damage and managing my level of discomfort. His support staff is amazing, and his assistant, Kelly, is extremely knowledgeable and does an amazing job! Dr. Stewart never makes me feel as though I am rushed and takes the time to thoroughly explain each procedure and the reason that it is necessary. I still have more treatment ahead of me and Dr. Stewart and his staff have been there guiding me through it every step of the way. I would highly recommend them to anyone wanting quality dental care.
